Short recording of a car (specifically an suv, but could easily work for a sedan or light truck) driving in from a distance and parking. It idles briefly, and then turns off the engine. Also some light suburban neighborhood ambience (light wind, subtle traffic in the distance). Recorded with a sennheiser mkh-416 into a zoom f4 at 48khz, 24-bit.

Warning beeps, doors close and train leaves partick subway station. Sound of train leaving echoes along the tracks and another train arrives on the far-side track. Recording: olympus ls3 + built-in mics.

Cars can be heard driving by, horns are honked, brakes are trodden etc. A sweeper vehicle features sometimes. People can rarely be heard, as the recording was done at about 6 am on a saturday morning in march 2012. Recorded with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

Recorded with the yamaha ypg-525 keyboard using the sound effects that were provided using audacity and a little creativity. No acknowledgement is necessary, but most appreciated. Front channels of a 4ch-surround field recording of the interior of a german local commuter train, completely without human voices, heading from the towns of naumburg to weissenfels. The train is in full motion at the beginning of the recording, then stops, with squealing brakes and all, then starts up again and reaches full velocity. The recording was done with a zoom h2, the microphones (front) set to 90° dispersion.
